itCity is a collaboration funded and facilitated by The Health Foundation, United Way of Central Indiana, the City of Indianapolis, Marion County Health Department and the Information and Referral Network.

The FitCity initiative's mission is to provide children and adolescents, and their caregivers, in region Marion and seven surrounding counties with messages about obesity, good nutrition, physical activity and

healthy weight, and prompt them to be more active and eat healthier.*

Since 2007, we have collaborated with Lisa Sirkin and Kelly Young, Indianapolis-based PR professionals, to develop a series of FitCity postcards. These cards are distributed throughout the community to increase awareness of the FitCity initiative.
