I
n 2007, Quality Printing invested in a
state-of-the-art digital printing system improving the quality, speed,
efficiency and flexibility of medium and short-run offset print
projects. The new system, Kodak’s Direct Press 5634, incorporates
proprietary Kodak imaging technologies and unprecedented automation to
create brilliant, high-resolution colors and images, with the crispness
and razor sharp line definition unseen in previous digital printing
systems.
To promote its new Direct Imaging capabilities, Quality Printing held an Open House for the graphic design community. For this event we developed a "Have It All" theme. Images were selected and combined to describe the advantages of DI printing: for example, a sports car and a retro tricycle represent high performance + style. The campaign included a series of three postcards, a brochure, and e-mail marketing.
